Monday Motivation; Blind Ambition

Jeff Hodges

You have to realize that you gotta just go with the flow and don’t fight the current, do the things that make you feel good, Know there will always be struggle, but as long as you have a vision and a goal to reach, pushing through the struggle will only get you even closer!!

Don’t try to jump the whole staircase, take one step at a time and anything is possible.

Thoughts turn into words, which turn into your actions, your actions then become your habits. Why not feed your thoughts wealth, joy and abundance?  Have strong intentions to make a difference, when you create your game changing plans. Ready? wait for it!!  You can TRULY do what you love no matter what it may be, and at the same time live a life that you always imagined!  As good as that sounds, remember either way it’s work to achieving it. Whether you go the right way to getting there, or if you decide to go the totally opposite direction. You will still succumb to work, so get like “NIKE’ and ” JUST DO IT!.”

We should work less, make more & live free!

After watching a movie about a blind guy and his struggles ( don’t remember the name unfortunately). I realize.this movie allowed me to gain a whole other perspective regarding ” seeing yourself, when there seems to be a lot preventing you” It was about this guy who was born with a disease in his eyes eventually becoming blind. Developed a relationship with this lady, gets a procedure done to regain his sight and so forth. The intriguing part for me was when he saw his first object, he couldn’t associate what it was. He was “psychologically blind” and had to learn how to allow his EYES to tune into what he was looking at and begin registering with it , thereby letting his mind play out the process.

So for me during my process to obtaining my goals, I’m continually learning how to stay in tune with my thoughts. Not allowing them to dictate too me what’s not, preventing me from seeing what will be! I hope this could be of some help to someone looking to realign and refocus on their journey to success! Have A Great Day!

Finding Your Passion

Start by making a list of things you love, and a list of things you hate. Make a list of all the things you are passionate about or that interest you. It doesn’t matter if these items seem trivial or random — something on your list could spark a great entrepreneurial idea.

Next, think about things that annoy, confuse or even anger you. If you ran the world, what changes would you like to make? Again, do not censor your thoughts: Just write!

“It is better to be alone, than in the wrong company” Tell me who your best friends are, and I will tell you who you are. If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl. But if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights. A mirror reflects a man’s face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses. The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with whom you closely associate, for the good and the bad. The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve. Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others it increases your mediocrity. An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with negative thinking and negative acting people. As you grow, your associates will change. Some of your friends will not want you to go on. They will want you to stay where they are. Friends that don’t help you climb, will want you to crawl. Your friends will either stretch your vision or choke your dream, Those that don’t increase you will eventually decrease you. Consider this; Never receive counsel from unproductive people. Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always first to tell you how. Not everyone has the right to speak into your life. You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange ideas with the wrong person. Don’t follow anyone who’s not going anywhere. With some people you spend and evening; with others you invest it. Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions along the road of life. Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships.”
